Sussex is a beautiful county, especially at this time of year. Long days with dramatic skies and lots of colour everywhere as Mother Nature does what she does best… Last month it was the bluebells giving the woods a purple haze and this month the poppies are out giving a splash of colour to the fields. Bluebells and poppies are my favourite flowers as they completely transform the landscape, it’s a shame they aren’t around for longer.
The photo below was taken earlier in the week. I try to get out and about whenever possible and always have a camera with me. You never know what could be around the next corner…
