Lifestyle photography is a passion of mine. To try to define it or categorise it is to miss the point. #LifestylePhotography is capturing life as it happens and the world around you. There is no agenda and it is spontaneous. It is the reason most of us buy a camera, to capture precious moments and document life. I usually have a camera on me and don’t rely on smartphones, although some of them have excellent cameras now. The shot above was taken during the pre-race events at the Brighton finish of the Tour Of Britain (Canon 50D, 70-200 L lens, f5.6, 1/320, ISO 100).
The shot below was taken at home and is of Lola, our crazy spaniel, who is photographed a lot! The shot was taken using my old Canon A1, using natural light (f1.8, 1/125, 50mm lens, ISO 400 Ilford film). For as long as film is available I will continue to use it…
