It is in our interest to remain in the agreement and to ensure that all countries respect their commitments. You promised to put America First in everything you do, and you did it in different ways, from trade to national security, to protecting our border, legalizing Washington, D.C. And today you have put America at the forefront when it comes to international agreements and the environment. In 2015, the U.S. delegation played a central role in negotiations for consensus on the agreement.
