RIDI Awards 2018
The RIDI Awards 2018 were held at XL Catlin on Gracechurch St in the city on the 15th March and I was there to photograph the event. I always enjoy the awards and have been RIDI’s photographer for a few years now.
I was there to capture the speeches, presentations and networking and there was a logo wall to get staged photos of the winners and key speakers.

RIDI Awards 2018
The event was a great success, attended by over 120 delegates and was presented by Sophia Warner, the T35 Paralympian track and field athlete for ParalympicsGB. Sophie Christensen, Paralympics GB Dressage gold medal winner at London 2012 and Rio 2016, was also presenting an award. They both have cerebral palsy. I have done shoots for ParalympicsGB and also work a few days a week with kids with cerebral palsy and it was great to spend some time with Sophia & Sophie.
I was really pleased with the photos I took at the RIDI Awards 2018, especially the photo of Sophia & Sophie which I think captures their genuine warmth and sense of fun.
