Wedding Photography, Editing and Late Availability

Last weekend was really busy with two fantastic weddings at Buxted Park Hotel and Findon Manor. The forecast threatened “biblical” weather but luck was on our side and the sun shone. This week has been all about editing, I am really pleased with the photos from both weddings and will be putting the finished collections of photos on my site over the next couple of weeks. A wedding usually ends up being a week’s work – one day taking the photos, a day sorting through and selecting the best shots, three days editing in DPP and Photoshop and then another day with meetings, recces, running to and from the lab and creating the web gallery.

Another wedding this weekend, a late booking which is a bonus. I still have some key dates free this summer so if you need a photographer at short notice it might not be too late. It’s strange the way bookings go sometimes. This year the wedding bookings are evenly spread out through the year and I still have the odd Saturday free in August! Last year the summer was fully booked with weddings and winter was all about corporate work.

The wedding enquiries are coming in now for next year, I met a lovely couple in Winchester last night and have a number of meetings over the next few weeks for next year. I have even had an enquiry from a couple who haven’t set a date yet but wanted to plan their wedding date around my availability!
